Term three reflection post

“Holding a Mirror” by  Roni Taharlev,  2020  Art Portfolio two was quite different from Art Portfolio one, because I finally chose the right progression for myself, from interior design to fine art, and I feel that I am at the right path. Another aspect that made it interesting is that we had a certain project idea - the Cromwell tragedy. The main concept of all of our projects required us to rebuild a city after a tragedy caused by a horrible fire. It caused us all to think creatively but meet the brief at the same time. I felt that this task was challenging for a fine artist, and would probably fit an architect more, but it was a rewarding experience, because I taught myself to come up with interesting concepts for my work and work within a certain idea. Creating this portfolio helped me discover my work in different ways, as each piece represents a milestone in my artistic development, reflecting my evolving skills and expanding my creative worldview.
