Target Market and Demographics

 Cromwell, Connecticut, USA

My project is targeted towards all ages, nations and its goal is to make Cromwell more diverse and welcoming for all people, to create a sense of community. At this moment, this city has a large indication of one ethnical group of people, where 78,4% is white, and the rest of population as hispanic, black, asian and multiracial, are minority (Neilsberg, 2023).

This can cause a problem with uniting people after the tragedy. My project demonstrates the idea that art can bring people together in many ways, like creating an inclusive environment. For example, Knight Foundation(2018) stated that art unites individuals in both physical and cultural ways. It has the ability to convey a community's collective ideas and goals, stimulate inspiration, and form connections that celebrate differences, and my project reflects this statement by showing people with different backgrounds, nationalities and ages.

Moreover, based on the statistics of this city’s age range, you can notice a small difference between the groups, where the biggest gap between the groups is 7% (comparison between 35-39 and 80-84), which means the age range is quite wide and diverse (Neilsberg, 2023). This is beneficial for my project because the idea of my works should be spread amongst all age groups for the effectiveness of my goal.
